This is regarding, a proposal for Corporate Group Health Insurance cover to the GDS in the present pandemic situation.

During the 2nd Wave of COVID-19 we have witnessed more COVID-19 cases and many of our staff has lost their lives, in which GDS are more in number.

In the wake of the above, the Circle Secretary of All India GDS Union has submitted a proposal for enrolling the GDS upto the age group of 60 years under Corporate Group Health Insurance (Comorbidity waiver without Home Care Covid Treatment) provided by "Go Digit" private Insurance Company for coverage upto Rs. 0 ks, 1,00,000/ - @ ind the rate of annual Rs.789/-

This office has approved the above mentioned proposal by taking concurrence from CIFA vide Dairy No. 15 dated 28.05.2021.

The amount of premium will be completely borne by the willing GDS based on declaration submitted through online as well as hard copy. It was proposed to deduct the said premium amount from May-2021 month TRCA of the willing GDS, but as the payment cycle is already completed and deduction cannot be done at this juncture. Hence, based on Circle Secretary's (AIGDSU) request and on the humanitarian grounds, the Competent Authority has agreed to pay centrally from Karnataka Family Relief Fund to the Insurance Company to enroll the willing GDS under above mentioned scheme to avoid the delay. The same amount will be recovered from the June month TRCA of the Insured GDS based on the declaration given.

The amount recovered from the respective DDOS need to be deposited back to the Karnataka Family Relief Fund by 1st week of July-2021 without fail. The procedure for enrollment under Corporate Group Health Insurance and recovery from the TRCA are as follows:

The willing GDS upto the age of 60 years will fill the required information on the said link. They can take the help of concerned Postmaster for uploading the same.

After filling up the form, the self declaration can be printed in PDF format which can be taken printout. Duly filled and signed self declaration can be uploaded in the same link.

1. A format of Self Declaration regarding TRCA deduction is being shared in hard copy format Tre with the DH and soft copy format through the link.

2.The web link can be accessed by the GDS on the their mobile phone in order to give their consent and same will be freezed by 31.05.2021 @10.00 hours, no request will be accepted thereafter. While soft copies will be submitted by the GDS directly with CO to save time, the DDOS are requested to collect their hard copies by 11.06.2021 @ 17.00 hours. The details may be shared to the concerned Division and Division will send the information to the Regional Office, complied details of the all Divisions may be submitted to this office by 14.06.2021 17.00 hours.

3.After getting the data from the said link, the payment will be made centrally to the Insurance Company from KFRF on 31.05.2021 itself to avoid delay The Circle Office will circulate the list of GDS opted for, Division wise to the Divisions concerned during 2nd week of June-2021. Division wise MIS will be provided through The Division should segregate the data DDO wise and will instruct the concerned DDOS to recover the premium of Rs.789/- from the TRCA of the June-2021.

4.The collected amount should be credited to Karnataka Family Relief Fund Account Number 54034602303, IFSC Code: SBIN0040526, State Bank of India, MS Building Branch, Bengaluru-560 001 and list of GDS from whom premium deducted may be sent to this office.

5.The details regarding distribution of Health Card will be shared latter to cart Wide publicity may be give to all GDS below 60 years, so that they will be benefited from this.
