Suspension of international Mails of all categories to China and Kuwait

Subject: Suspension of International Mail booking in all categories for China and Kuwait.


Due to disruptions in flight connectivity for China and Kuwait, Competent authority has decided the following

1. Suspension of booking of all categories of International Mails destined for China with

immediate effect for one week.

2. Suspension of booking of all categories of International Mails destined for Kuwait with immediate effect till further orders.

Circles shall brings this to the notice of all customers as well as display it for public information.

Sir/Madam, The undersigned is directed to say that the issue of enhancement of the present limit of acceptance of cash at GDS Branch Post Offices and cash transaction limit in other SOLS account was under consideration in this Directorate. This limit was prescribed in para 18 and para 27 of SB Order No 05/2016 dated 21.06.2016.
